Hello football lovers,

Thanks for the amazing response on my first blog. and here i am with the second installment as promised.  As Champions League final is near and every one of us is getting more and more curious to know how their teams are preparing for the big game.

Today i will be discussing all the things you want to know such as expected line up, teams stats and tactics.So, here we go.

As the game date comes closer both team managers are dealing with a huge amount of pressure.After all no one want to come this close and then lose it all. Each one of them are rereading their opponents game-style and trying to figure out how they can get better of them.So lets take a look at the team stats.

TEAM STATISTICS

Both teams are enjoying an excellent run of form which is great news for their supporters.

Juventus have won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 matches whereas, Barcelona have Won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1 of their last 5 matches.

LAST ENCOUNTER

The last time when these two teams went face to face was in 2003 in the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Champion League. Where Juventus beats Barcelona with an aggregate score of 3-2.

Barcelona will be hoping to get a revenge here, while juveniles will try their best to repeat the history once again.

Allegri will be expected to keep his winning squad against Real Madrid intact. With a powerful midfield Juventus will surely hoping to use their  playmaking techniques to break Barca’s defense line.With players of potential Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba  juventus can turn the stones at any point during the match.

Leonardo Bonucci  [Center-back]

He will pair up with Chiellini to compete with one of the most furious attacking line up in football world.

Patrice Evra [Left fullback]

Originally, an attacker Evra gives an extra width to juventus game play. His ability to cut inside the box will surely help the old lady.

Stephan Lichtsteiner [Right-back]

Lichtsteiner is considered to be one of the most consistent performer in his position.His runs, crossing and tackling technique are admirable.

Andrea Pirlo [Central Midfielder]

There are endless superlatives to describe the Italian international in full flight. Pirlo is one of the most graceful player in today’s football world.His incredible vision allows him to complete cross field passes with an inch perfect accuracy.A lot is expected from him in a big game.

Paul Pogba [Central Midfielder]

The 22-years-old French prodigy has already drawn comparisons to the likes of Patrick Viera and is more than capable of  devastating any team with his exceptional passing and dribbling.The way he finds and creates  the gap is really mesmerizing.

Claudio Marchisio [Attacking Midfielder]

Marchisio is an integral part of Juventus squad.His high work-rate and ability to read the game allows him to  plan his runs and proves to be the lethal.

Arturo Vidal [Complete Midfielder]

Vidal is arguably among the best midfielders in the world right now, with his high tackle percentage and driving runs laying the foundation for Pirlo’s wonderful passing game. He is a complete player in himself who can fit anywhere in the team. Allegri will be expecting a whole world from him.

Carlo Tevez [Striker]

One of the best striker in the game Tevez is a real threat to any team and is capable of running riot in opponents box. His Strong built and amazing balance makes it a difficult for the defenders to shook him off the ball.

Álvaro Morata [Striker]

The Spanish footballer is one of the rising stars of the game and has the potential to be of  the best striker in the Europe. His flair can help him to dodge his marking and could prove to be the final piece of jig-saw.

With Luiz Suarez expected to be declared fit for the final, Enrique has one of the most feared attacking line at his disposal. Although the whole starting XI of catalan club is oozing with form, its  front three who takes it to the next level. Messi-Suarez-Neymar commonly know as MSN will be expected to do what they do best i.e. scoring goals.

The young goalkeeper from Germany is enjoying a brilliant first season in Barcelona .Although he is not even near to the quality of Buffon, but his amazing  record in champion league places him at the level with the Italian skipper.

Gerard Piqué [Center-back]

 Unlike many defenders Pique game style is little different, the center-back likes to play small passes which helps maintain the ball possession.His strong presence in the air could prove crucial in the opponent’ s box.

Javier Mascherano [Center-back]

Mascherano’s concentration and marking ability will be on the test once again as he will be given the task to mark Morata, who has shown the world what he can do if you let him slip.

Dani Alves [Right fullback]

Brazilian fullback is a crucial piece of Catalan squad, the way he holds on to the ball is really impressive. also his ability to find a man from deep in the pitch is the key to Barcelona’s counterattack. 

Jordi Alba [Left fullback]

This  attack-minded left-back is a treat to watch. Alba’s attacking instincts and contributions in the final third helps the team to  press high. Although that may sometimes leave some gaps in the back to explore.

Sergio Busquets [Defensive Midfielder]

Busquets is one of the most underrated player in football industry. He is an amazing tactician. He reads games like no one else, whenever opponents move starts to build, he always quick to repond.Given the current situation he is the most needed player for Barcelona.

Ivan Rakitić [Attacking Midfielder]

The addition of Croatian has given a new dimension to Barcelona’s attacking unit. His Creative brilliance and attribute to go ahead and help the front three, is too much for the defenders to handle.

Andres Iniesta [Attacking Midfielder]

This man has won almost everything to be won in the field of football, weather it is World Cup, European Cup, League or Champions cup this man has it all. He is the Commanding general of Barcelona’s “tiki-taka”. It is his ability to tear up opponents whole defense line up with one single pass makes him a true footballing legend.

Neymar [Left Forward]

 The Brazilian attacker is known to perform in big matches like this.His samba style of play often puts  defenders in two minds,which he takes advantage of, the way he gets past the defense line is joy to watch.

Luiz Suarez [Striker]

The lethal striker is a continuous threat in opponents half, especially in counterattack.Weather inside the box or outside his clinical nature will make you pay for your smallest of mistake. His aggression toward the game is known to all. He will be a tough task to handle.

Lionel Messi [One man army]

Messi and Football is synonym to each other. Often entitled as “The best footballer in the world”, Messi knows how to make his spectators go “OMG!”.He is a match winner in himself. Defenders was never a problem for him, weather three, four or five he knows how to make his way and make the international professional footballers look like a puppet. Barcelona is lucky to have him in their ranks. “HOW TO STOP MESSI?”  is still the question that haunts every football manager.
