Liverpool and City “ridiculous” in their valuation of Sterling

Over the past few weeks it has grown increasingly difficult to tell which of Liverpool and Manchester City is smoking the stronger good stuff. It seems as if both teams are trying their darnedest to outdo each other in the “let’s drive our fans crazy department” with regard to the Sterling issue. Not long ago, City offered £40 million for the winger and just when fans were beginning to think such a sum was ridiculous for a player of his talent, Liverpool turned down the deal to turn even more heads.
